“This apartment was everything my wife and I needed for an extended stay (5 weeks) in Troy. It's an easy walk to Downtown, easy access to the highways, and a pretty quiet block with lots of parking. The kitchen is fully equipped except for a dishwasher, and there were even a few extra spices and supplies in the cupboard beyond just salt/pepper/oil. What really sets it apart as great choice of lodging, however, is Sylva's especially thoughtful and responsive manner as a host. She took great care to make sure we had everything we needed and responded with lightning speed to the two very minor issues we brought to her attention. I will call Sylva first if I ever need to make an extended stay in Troy again.”

“Occasionally an AirBnb experience comes along that, quite frankly, makes everyone else look bad! I stayed in this apartment for over a month with my husband and 1-yr old baby and felt so at home, I wish we could have stayed forever… we have stayed in around 50 AirBnb's and this place stood out... Stand-out features included: - Well equipped kitchen with quality fry pans / appliances etc... they've thought of everything! - Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of towels - Kid-friendly (lots of comfy rugs to play on along with floorboards to wipe clean after meals, plus a proper bath) - Easy for a baby, Sylva hosts multiple apartments and has some baby goods to offer around, we were lucky enough to make use of her high chair, pack n play, stroller and some toys - The location was perfect as a walkable base for Troy - 5 mins walk to downtown including the farmer's market, excellent restaurants etc... I also felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood walking with my baby. - Easy parking, probably the closest location to downtown with free, plentiful all-day parking, only one restriction on Mondays as they do street sweeping on one side then the other - Clean, stylish and homely decor... just lovely... a few antiques mixed in with modern touches. Thanks for having us, we can't wait to visit again!!”
